Micromax’s Yu Yunicorn smartphone priced at Rs 12,999 will be available via its first flash sale on Flipkart today at 2pm, registrations for which was open till 1 pm. Yu Yunicorn will be available at Rs 12,999 only for this month, after which the price will go up to Rs 13,499. Flipkart is also offering 10% cashback for SBI credit card users in this flash sale.
Yu Yunicorn smartphone features a metal unibody design, and looks like a supercharged version of Micromax Canvas 6 Pro. Yu Yunicorn comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and supports Miravision 2.0. YU Yunicorn offers a premium metal design, 4GB RAM (which the company calls as mammoth), 32GB storage and an octa-core processor.
Yu Yunicorn smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, named ‘Android on Steroids’. It is expected to upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow within a month after the launch. The Around Yu 2.0 offers users various services such as Zomato, Ola, Uber and Ixigo. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB onboard memory and 32GB space on “social drive”. The memory on the phone can be expanded by a 128GB microSD card.
