PANASONIC HAS launched its Eluga Arc phone in India. The device comes with an in-built sensor to control smart home automated devices such as air conditioners, televisions, DVD players, etc. For additional security, there’s a fingerprint sensor, which can be configured for five different fingerprints. There are also commands for one-step screen unlocking, picking calls, launching applications and clicking selfies.
It can even lock individual apps for enhanced security of personal data. The device has a 2.5D curvature on a 4.7-inch screen. It is enabled with Android for Work support, which allows enhanced IT security and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) compatibility. It comes loaded with 4G VoLTE connectivity and Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for quick access to Internet and smartphone operations anywhere, anytime. It costs Rs 12,490.
