LeEco Le 1s Eco smartphone has been launched in India priced at Rs 10,899; the smartphone offers, what the company calls, ‘Supertainment’ services. LeEco Le 1s Eco smartphone is a first ‘Made for India’ product launched by the company. LeEco Le 1s Eco smartphone will come with one year free LeEco content membership. For the first for first 100,000 buyers the Supertainment package smartphone will be available at a discounted Rs 9,999 during the first flash sale on May 12. Registrations for the Flipkart flash have already started.
LeEco Le 1s Eco features 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset with PowerVR graphics. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The metal unibody smartphone doesn’t support expandable storage, and has a 3000 mAh battery. Le 1s (Eco) also uses USB Type-C port for charging and supports fast charging. Le 1s Eco comes with 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone also has a rear fingerprint scanner.
LeEco Le 1s Eco is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Connectivity features include 4G, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, Infrared, WLAN, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It also supports fast charging which offers 3.5 hours of talk time with 5 minutes of charging, claims the company. A 3,000mAh non-removable battery completes the package.
Le 1s Eco smartphones will come with an app called Le Vidi, powered by ErosNow, which allows users to watch movies, while Le Live powered by Yupp TV allows users to watch live TV. Both the services will be available from May 24. It has tied up with Hungama Music which offers over 3.5 million songs in 25 languages and this service will be rolled out in the third quarter of 2016.
