no IR blaster, no removable battery = downgrade = no deal

  2. onstrike112 says:

They call it the “note” and yet the only “note”-like feature it has is a stupid pen. It’s basically a super-sized Galaxy S phone, with said stupid pen.

  3. Abdel says:

Useless feature, even if it works properly, which I doubt.

  4. Cesar says:

When are they going to bring back the IR blaster. I miss my universal remote.

    1. Jan Lavicka says:

Samsung has adopted iDi*cy from Apple, youre an iDi*t for them, you dont need it

  5. bradavon says:

I do like the idea of aligning the Note and S series.

  6. MarkUkanela says:

What we need from Samsung to match the Oppo is a Dual SIM card reader as well with no Facebook Preinstalled on it. Samsung should not Preinstalled any apps on Note 7. Those that want apps can install them themselves. Chinese smartphones have no such apps Preinstalled with no uninstall options. This is one reason their sales are climbing abroad.

Awesome but does it work at night time, i mean if i want to unlock my device but there isnt enough light will i have to go to the bathroom and turn on the light for the iris scanner to detect cause that would definitely take all my sleep away and waste my time.

    1. thereasoner says:

Why does iris have to be the only option? Are they saying that the fingerprint sensor is gone? Iris scanner would offer the superior security when it’s used.

      1. Istafa Niazi says:

From what I’ve heard i think will be used

    2. Matt Swider says:

If Samsung uses an infrared LED in its iris scanner, then there’s reason to believe that it’ll work even in the dark, Istafa Niazi. I could see that being a big deal!

      1. thereasoner says:

I was thinking of a front facing flash but IR would be less blinding for sure.

      2. Istafa Niazi says:

        ?????????????

        1. Istafa Niazi says:

          But seriously!!!!!!
