Another good one which explains in good detail the reason why there's is one of the best is Web Lab Co. They have explained some interesting facts about web hosting most people are not aware of.

I personally use Bluehost, I've been with them for about 4 years and they haven't put a foot wrong. They have brilliant site building tools too. https://www.bluehost.com/track

Truth is there a good more web hosting services in the UK providing way better service if you are prepared to pay properly for hosting. I use RCS Web Hosting and have found them to be very reliable and helpful.

This list couldn't really get any worse for providing a list of "best" hosting companies. Cheap maybe, unreliable definitely. 123reg for example, hold domain names hostage unless you pay them £12 to move away. 123reg, EasySpace, GoDaddy, 1&1 and Fasthosts are all to be avoided like the plague.

  6. Enola West says:

Heart Internet 2nd? Really! They are Shocking! the Customer Support is always the same "We Cant help" and the web servers where always going down! as a business we moved away this year to United Hosting and they are brilliant. Would never recommend Heart Internet. 123 and 1&1 are good though.

  7. Prof. Doug Renner says:

Recently branched out into hosting game. Drop me a line if you're interested.

Are you kidding me right now???????????? 1.2.3 reg the number web hosting site???? this is the worst hosting service ever exist and will shutdown soon or later…absolutely disgusting! you are either a paid troll or you are clearly missinformed and uneducated on such subjects.

Thanks for this very useful list! I have been using Linux Hosts Inc. and Linux Hosts Ltd. for 8 years and I must admit that I was and still are pleasantly surprised by the companies high service levels combined with more than affordable pricing. Maybe you can add the Ltd one also to your list? I think they deserve it. Thanks!

    What about Zyma.com?

I really like what you have posted here. Much appreciated. I found my ideal web hosting provider after reading about reviews on Weloveourhost. They have quite useful advice on how to find the best one. The website explains, among others, what are the best search terms to use which makes the choice eventually a lot easier.

  12. Miss Alivia Dooley I says:

Couldnt agree more with many of the other comments here! I run a web developement agency for the last 8 years and almost all the ones in this list are simply rubbish! godaddy servers are heavily congested with over a thousand site on a single server (which is very bad for your SEO especially if you're sharing the IP address and some other site gets blackslisted or something). 123reg charges you for creating a subdomain which is ridiculous! 1and1 servers are notoriously slow and based in Germany, which again isnt great for SEO. Fasthost tech support is almost non existent. I could go on all day!

This would've been a great post if you replace 'best' in the title with 'rubbish/slow'poor-tech-support' or perhaps cheapest in which case the list is very apt.

A publication like Techradar should research what attributes qualify to make it to the 'best' list (server speed, uptime guarantee, security, patch upgrades and so on…) and then make a list and you'll get names like Ukfast and Rackspace to name my top 2.
