  1. Prof. Brooks Lowe says:

Just a heads up for anyone considering buying the Fire stick, it's currently half price for Prime subscribers – at only £15 quid, I couldn't *not* pre-order it. (I don't work for Amazon, I swear!)

  2. Deborah Konopelski says:

If you have wifi try Mediahhh TV which is compatible with Fire and Chromecast…

  3. Prof. Ena Brakus IV says:

we also joined prime but have found you still have to pay extra to watch almost everything! Bit of a con! Looking into hacking it!

  4. Brennan Heathcote says:

Has HBO GO not sure why it says it does not.

  5. Rozella Fisher says:

Interestingly in the UK, no real clamour for HBO either 🙂

One interesting thing you missed. Chromecast won't work in Hotels, or anywhere with a captive portal. The fire stick does, and for me that's a huge plus.

Anyone that's going to take family away will be glad that this works in hotels/hot spots.

  6. Claud D'Amore says:

yeh, this is supposed to be 'TechRadar, AU' and HBO Go isnt available in australia…not legally anyway …

  7. Mr. Murl Watsica says:

Thanks for catching this, David! The review was written when the Fire TV Stick launched and hasn't been updated since. We've updated the copy of the review to reflect recent changes. Thanks for reading!
