With those features (touch screen, IBIS, faster shutter speed, faster flash sync) the price would have gone high to approximately $1500…..I guess Sony will release another camera with all those features….so as of now A6300 is a decent upgrade of the predecessor A6000 and is priced way less than its other competitors in the market.

Are you comparing the launch price of the 6300 with the launch price of the 6000 or the launch price of the 6300 with the present day price of the A6000. If you're comparing this launch price with today's street price of the 6000 then you're comparing apples and pomegranates.

Waiting for my A77II replacement…..May be a A99II…36MP with 10FPS will make my dream come true. Lets see if there is a release in the CP+ 2016.

  4. Sydney Larkin says:

I don't understand the $350 increase of the kit MSRP for this over the kit MSRP of the A6000 because it's still missing expected things like touchscreen, faster shutter (1/8000s) and flash sync, and the aforementioned improved ergonomics (more dials, etc.). Other nice to have like IBIS and weather sealing are provided by others, like EM5mkII.

That said, nice updates over the A6000 and nice camera overall, just not enough to move it to another price level I think.

  5. Aiyana Hodkiewicz says:

That'd be my ideal camera. Sony a6300 but with weather sealing an IBIS and touch screen.

Doubt they'll be releasing anything like that this year though. Maybe next year?
